On January 24, 2009 that I was pregnant. And last Friday 27, 2009 I went to my 2 month Doctors appointment. While my doctor was doing my ultrasound he was very quiet & then said "So how many babies did you guys want?" I was very shocked & surprised to hear that news. Bassam said he immediately thought of "Octomom." I couldnt believe it. The funny thing is that Matthew said that I was going to have 2 babies a couple of weeks ago. I told Bassam "Wouldn't it be funny if Matthew was right?" Bassam said " Be quiet, Melisa." And more recently I was at the store with Amira & Matthew insisted on buying two identical toys for his babies. I didn't think anything of it, I just assumed that he wanted the other toy for himself. Well, he was right! We heard both of the babies heartbeats & the doctor said that based off the size of the babies my due date is October 6, 2009 instead of October 1, 2009. Here is a picture of the ultrasound. The picture isn't clear enough to see the two babies but you can see the shapes of the aminotic sacks. My doctor said that he is going to be doing an ultrasound everytime I see him so he can check on the babies and make sure they are doing good. It's still too early to see if they are identical or fraternal twins. I'm hoping that we will be able to find out soon what the babies are as well. I'm going to ask the Doctor on my next appointment when we will find out if they are identical twins or fraternal twins. I think everyone wants to know if at least of the babies is a girl.
As you can see by my last post I started this blog awhile ago & haven't posted anything since May 2008. I'm going to try my best to keep updating this blog. I'll keep you posted as often as I can. Have a great week!
